In 2027, Greater Sudbury will host the Canada Arm Wrestling World Qualifiers, marking its 50th anniversary and reinforcing its role as a global strength sports powerhouse. Over 800 athletes from across Canada will compete, aiming to secure a spot on Team Canada. The event, set to run from April 23–25 at the Radisson Hotel, will determine which Canadian athletes qualify for the World Championships.
